Ocean Beaches Glassblowing was established by Bob and Vicki Meyer in 2005 when Bob fell in love with glassblowing. His previous occupation? Pharmacist! After he spent years working in a small garage, they expanded the studio and gallery in 2007, into the building it is today!
After blowing glass for over twenty years Bob wanted to slow down a bit. In early 2024 Amanda joined the team as the primary glassblower and started offering glassblowing experiences! She has over two decades of glassblowing expertise and allows you to be very hands on! Amanda also stocks many of our shelves with not only floats, but beautiful vases, bowls, and much more!
As of 2025, the new owners, Michael and Kristen work to continue the Ocean Beaches Glassblowing legacy. We continue to showcase many unique artists, from glass to paintings and more in between! Fun fact! Kristen has worked on and off at the gallery for over the last sixteen years before purchasing it from Bob and Vicki.
